IBM TR 5 (20L0549) Travan Tape Drive - Losing important information can be disastrous to any organization so it is imperative that you back up your data. IBM realizes this and offers a reliable tape back up solution - the IDE TR5 10/20GB internal tape drive. This drive is compatible with IBM's and Imation's NS20 or TR5 tape cartridges and is backward read compatible with TR4 tapes. It has a backup rate of 120MB per minute with software data compression and a native capacity of 10GB or 20GB with compression. This drive comes with software, a data cartridge, and bezels to provide a ready-to-use solution right out of the box for most IBM desktop systems. It has a 3.5-inch low profile form factor, but you can also install it in a 5.25-inch half height bay with the included hardware.
