Don Eduardo Tequila Reposado - 4 (OUT OF 5) STARS SPIRIT JOURNAL.The "Best Reposado Tequila 1999" as named by the Federal Government of the Republic of Mexico, the highest honor possible in the country. Light golden-yellow color. Sweet creme brulée nose has a hint of perfumed spice. A graceful, silky attack leads to a medium-bodied palate with tropical flowers and fruits balanced by a wave of peppery, brown spiciness. Very smooth, effortless finish. Agave character is dusty and subdued but this is wonderfully made.
